Clotet left Leeds following Garry Monk’s sacking at the end of the 2016-17 season.

Former Leeds United assistant Pep Clotet has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that he regrets leaving Elland Road after Garry Monk was sacked by owner Andrea Radrizzani – and Whites fans want him back.

Spaniard Clotet, 41, joined Leeds alongside Monk after working with him at Swansea City, and the duo almost pushed Leeds into the top six of the Championship – falling shy of a play-off place on the last day of the season.
