Under 23s: Forest 1-1 Watford

Nottingham Forest Under 23s' hopes of making the Professional Development League play-offs took a hit after a 1-1 draw against Watford this evening.

The Reds needed all three points to keep themselves in the hunt for a top-two finish and looked to have got it through Virgil Gomis' goal but a late Reece Miller goal pegged them back for a share of the spoils.
It took until the 68th minute for Gareth Holmes's side to find the breakthrough as Gomis latched onto Aaron Smith's pass before cooly rounding goalkeeper Sam Howes and slotting into the net.
But substitute Miller had the final say as he latched onto a long ball before finishing past Liam Bossin to ensure that the points were shared at the Impact Arena.
