Recognition for Jorge Grant as Notts County ace is ‘buzzing’ to make PFA League Two Team of the Year

Midfielder Jorge Grant’s fine form for Notts County has been recognised by his fellow professionals. And the man himself said he was delighted to be included, having made it one of his goals before the season had kicked off. Grant wrote on Twitter: “Buzzing to be in @PFA team of the year. One of my targets at start of this season was to be in this so really happy.”   This is the 23-year-old’s second spell with the club, after he impressed for Notts in the second half of last term. Grant has continued his progress this time around, bagging 18 goals in 52 appearances.  He is among the top scorers in the division, with 15 of those strikes coming in the league, as well as weighing in with six assists. He is the only Notts player to make the PFA’s XI, which is dominated by representatives from the current top two sides in the table, Accrington Stanley and Luton Town.
