		Rangers No2 McAllister was delighted with win over TNS	Gers face Bury on Friday at Ibrox ahead of their Europa League opener next week.
The Light Blues host FK Shkupi at home on July 12 – in Gerrard’s competitive debut.
Before heading to Macedonia for the return clash five days later.
McAllister told Rangers TV: “We are getting very close to the real competitive matches and it’s a great opportunity for the players to use these friendlies just to get the real match sharpness back.

		Rangers have been hard at work in preparation for competitive action	“They’ve done a lot of physical work over the last two or three weeks, so I think they are glad that the games are coming round because that’s what they want to do, they want to play football.
“The beauty of today was that the fact that we had two elevens for each half.
“The first half was excellent as well so overall we are very pleased.
“The players have got to get the plaudits because there was some brave play and some nice little one-twos, combinations and good efforts to goal.
	
		 
	
	
“We have worked a lot on short passes and keeping possession and getting the efforts at goal and the players did well.”
“I think that as we go in to the next games, the level of the opponent gradually gets a little bit better before we go in to the Europa League games.

“Overall, we are quite glad with how things are going.
“I’m looking forward to Friday and I think we are up over 30,000 and hopefully by the time the game kicks off with people walking in too, we should be bouncing at Ibrox.”
