Confirmed: Leeds United player departs Elland Road for other EFL side on loan

Leeds United striker Malik Wilks has left Elland Road, signing for Doncaster Rovers on a six-month loan deal.

The club tweeted the news, confirming that the 19-year old would hook up with Grant McCann’s League One side until January.

Wilkes is no stranger to loan moves, having played for League Two side Grimsby last season, adding to his previous stint in the bottom division at Accrington Stanley. He bagged three times in 18 matches for Stanley, receiving a League Two winner’s medal despite leaving in January.
