It will be Steven Gerrard’s first taste of the highly anticipated Glasgow derby as he goes head-to-head with his former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
The Anfield legend’s first Ibrox showdown is scheduled for Saturday December 29, with a third match pencilled in for Saturday March 30 next year.
Gerrard experienced his fair share of Merseyside derbies as a player and he’ll now get a taste of the Old Firm rivalry.
