In the interests of safety, the following message has been issued for Saturday’s fixture with Birmingham City at Elland Road.
Every bag will be searched and tagged upon entry to the stadium. The Leeds United Superstore will issue clear bags for supporters buying goods on a matchday, so that they do not incur any issues coming into the stadium. To avoid queues at the turnstile, it is recommended to visit Elland Road without bags where possible.
No containers will be allowed into the ground for this game and plastic drinks bottles will need to have tops removed. If you would like to bring a drink, we suggest a cardboard carton.
All fans are requested to be vigilant around the ground and report anything suspicious to the nearest steward.
As with other high profile games at Elland Road, on Saturday, the West Stand Car Park will be totally sterile from 1:00pm.
It will remain a sterile area until after all fans have left the ground at the end of the match.
All supporters should use Lowfields Road and the North end of the Fullerton Car Park to access the stadium and NOT the West Stand gates.
The West Stand Ticket Office will continue to operate as normal, but will supporters will be sent back onto Elland Road once purchases have been made.
Due to the large crowd expected at Elland Road, we are advising supporters to arrive early and avoid bringing bags to avoid queues at the turnstiles.
Supporters should use the exit routes highlighted in the below image:
