Leeds United left-back Barry Douglas spoke exclusively to LUTV ahead of Saturday’s trip to Millwall.
The Whites currently top the Sky Bet Championship and are looking to maintain their unbeaten run in the division at The Den.
It is the first match following the international break and Douglas can’t wait to get back out on the pitch.
“Everyone is raring to go again and looking forward to getting back to competitive football,” said Douglas.
“It is nice to have a break this early in the season, but it has given us time to focus on this next game and get excited again.
“Nothing has been achieved yet, we have had a good start and we need to build on that.
“Having the break has given us the chance to re-evaluate, see where we need to improve and take it on to the next phase of the league.
“It is tough (visiting the Den), but these are the places you want to go and play and hopefully we can get a result.
“It will be a good experience, it is intimidating, but it is a good atmosphere to play in.
“Every team in this league has to be respected, they were successful last year and we will go into it preparing like any normal game.
“We know it will be difficult, but it is all about ourselves, how we prepare and take our game to them.”
